I graduated in 2004 with a Diploma of Engineering in Mathematics at Polytech’Clermont-Ferrand (formerly CUST) in France. Then I moved to the United States of America where I obtained a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering at the University of Oklahoma in 2006. In between my transfer to the USA, I worked as an engineer at the IMCCE Institute of the Paris Observatory in 2003 and 2004, and I worked at the Sternberg Astronomical Institute (SAI) of the Moscow State University in 2004. My current researches at LOIS are on kernel methods and their applications to Support Vector Machines (SVM) and Kalman Filtering.

LaTeX Packages

I also wrote a LaTeX2e class file for formatting documents according to the Dissertation Instruction Packet’s guidelines for theses at the University of Oklahoma (with respect to Fall 2008 guidelines). The class file is licensed under the GNU GPL license and can be downloaded free of charge here (an example of use is given inside the outhesis.cls file).
